Erisa Taghizadeh (Music Teacher)
Erisa was born and raised in Isfahan, Iran, and moved to California in 2016 with her family. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine and is currently a pre-dental student, aspiring to become a dentist.
Growing up in a music-loving family, she began Orff classes at the age of 4, nurturing a lifelong passion for classical Persian music. She is skilled in playing the santur and tombak, having studied under renowned maestros such as Mahyar Toreihi, Pejman Haddadi, Pejman Ekhtiari, Mehdi Rafieian, Hesam Hosseini, and Majid Rafieian. In addition to her dedication to music, Erisa's love for Persian history and cultural heritage led her to minor in Persian Studies at UC Irvine, where she studied with esteemed professors like Dr. Daryaei and Maestro Omoumi.
Trained as an Orff Music teacher from a young age, Erisa finds joy in teaching music at Bahar Kids since 2018 and blending her passion for education and music.
